Jamie is now eating 2 meals a day, plus having his milk and he is really enjoying food. He has porridge for breakfast, and pureed fruit/vegetables for tea and I am now giving him baby rice in his milk at night to try and help him sleep through. He hasn’t slept through for a while now, not sure if it is because he gets hungry or his teething is bothering him, on the whole he is not too bad and only gets me up a couple of times in the night.

We are going to clinic tomorrow for another weighing session so I will post the results later in the week. I guess he is at least 16lb now, he feels a lot heavier though!

Jamie has got really good in his activity centre (a round thing he sits in with loads of buttons/spinning ball/book etc) and can do most of the things on it – he really enjoys working things out and remembers the next time how to do things. There is one very annoying thing though which is where he flicks a book like part of it just enough so it clicks and changes tunes, but he has worked out where the click is and just keeps doing it over and over – can’t think where he has got that from (daddy)???

Still no teeth yet although they are nearly there, you can certainly feel them in his gums so I don’t think it will be long before they start coming through now.

Jamie has decided not to crawl yet, however, any chance he gets he tries to stand up. He can sit up pretty straight but needs supporting gently as he can’t stop himself falling over to the side yet. He has also just discovered his feet and enjoys grabbing them when daddy is trying to change his nappy – this is very funny, well Jamie thinks so!

That’s all for now, but Jamie is doing great and we are really happy with him – he is a little angel.

Jamie had his third lot of immunisations today. He was sooo good, he hardly cried at all bless him, and this time it was 3 injections in his legs! That’s it now until he is 1 year old thank goodness, I think I was more upset than him.

We haven’t been swimming yet as everytime I think right we will go, something crops up. He can’t go now for a few weeks after his jabs so it may be that the first time he goes swimming is on holiday in Spain, at least it will be nice and warm there for him.
