Hi Y’all
Sorry for the lack of news but I’ve been real busy. There will be a few posts coming over the weekend. I have pics to post from my 30th bash and also some more baby scans.
The reason for the additional scans is that Shell has been diagnosed with pregnancy related diabetes so she now has to go and have scans every two weeks. Whilst this is a little bit serious it’s nothing to worry about and it’s good that the hospital are keeping a close eye on things.

We have taken the radiator off the wall so that we strip the paper and redecorate behind it.
I have also removed almost all the soot and excess brickwork from the chimney wall.

I spent nearly all of yesterday attacking my garden as it had gotten into quite a state.
I was in the garden from 11:30 and didn’t really stop until about 7pm when I got back from running all the clippings and what not to the tip.
Needless to say I was shattered by the end of it but it was good work done and the garden looks a good deal tidier.
The garden still needs a complete overhaul and rethink, however that is going to have to wait until next summer as we currently have other priorities

I have no started work on the bedroom which, once decorated, will be our new bedroom/nursery.
Whilst there is not a load a structural work to do there is still quite a bit of graft involved.
Things to do:
Chisel all soot and proud brickwork off the old chimney breast so that the wall can be skimmed.
Finish stripping the ceiling
Repair hole in ceiling from taking out the chimney
Chase out two new double plug sockets
Renew skirting boards
Replace radiator
Redecorate room.
I have taken some pictures showing the current state of the room and will post those tonight if I get chance

Work on the kitchen continues but the pace has slowed a bit.
We now have the radiator fitted and plumbed in and the waste disposal has also been fitted.
Michelle has begun cleaning the cupboards and putting stuff away. This means that the hall it starting to look a bit less cluttered as this was where we were storing all the items we had taken out of the old kitchen.
Jobs left to do:
Fit skirting boards
Fit downlights
Refit the plinths following hte tiling of the floor
So there isn’t much left to do
